Requirements for visa to Luxembourg:
Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal Spain and Italy constitute part of the border-free travel zone called the Schengen Area. All the Australian, Canadian, Japanese, New Zealand and American citizens can take entry to Luxembourg as tourists without having visa to Luxembourg and stay up to 90 days. If one desires to visit only one Schengen country, the person must apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of that country.
General regulations for visa to Luxembourg:
Postal applications are not accepted by the Luxembourg Embassy. Application should therefore be made personally at the Embassy or Consulate that is concerned for the place of residence.
Documents required for visa to Luxembourg:
- A passport or official travel document accepted by the Schengen countries and valid for at least three months longer than the validity of the visa
- Proof of the purpose of your visit
- Travel medical insurance valid for the time of the proposed stay
- A letter from the employer of the concerned person, if the person is self-employed, from your solicitor, accountant or the Chamber of Commerce.
Cost for visa to Luxembourg:
The Luxembourg Embassy charges a fee of £42 (fixed) for all Schengen visas, payable on application. This fee is not refundable.
