Requirement for visa to Finland:
A valid passport is required with three months of validity beyond the length of stay in Finland. Passport is required for everybody except the EU nationals who are having a valid national ID card. Notably :
For the nationals of EU countries for an unlimited period
For the nationals of Australia, Canada and the USA for stays of no more than 90 days

Requirement for visa application to Finland:
- Passport or official travel documents valid for at least three months after proposed stay with blank pages to affix visa stamp.
- One signed, completed application form.
- One passport-size photo.
- Evidence of sufficient funds to cover stay.
- Proof of purpose of stay such as a letter of invitation from a host in Belgium, a return ticket or hotel booking.
- Letter from employer or from solicitor or bank manager if self-employed. If a student, letter from school or college confirming attendance.
- Stamped, self-addressed registered envelope for postal applications.
- Fee (payable by postal order only, or cash if in person).
- Return ticket(s) to country of residence for some nationalities
Processing time:
It will take 48 hrs to 8 weeks according to the purpose of travel to the land and according to the sufficiency and clarity of the documents.
