Like trains, aircrafts also consist two types of accommodation facilities for people: economy class and business class. People with an average financial status avail the economy class of an aircraft because the price of tickets is less. The main reason behind the low price of tickets is the less availability of services. Only the compulsory services are provided to people traveling on economy class of an airlines. There are thousands of airlines all over the world that operates business class flights in different areal routes and as large number of people travel to different parts of Asia,some of the major airlines that operate regular flights to Asia are now offering business class flights to the passengers.

Generally aircrafts covering long distance consists business class seats. In European airlines business class seats are separated from economy or general class by a curtain. Passengers in the business class are offered better hospitality services. The seats are far more comfortable than those in economy class and superior quality foods and beverages are served to passengers. Generally three type of seats are available in the business class in European aircrafts. One is the Cradle seat which can be reclined around 160 degrees. Another is the Angled lie flat seats. These seats can also be reclined to 180 degrees and when laid flat, the seats provide a flat sleeping surface. But the seats do not go down to the level of the floor.
Another one is the Fully flat seats. When laid, these seats take the shape of a flat bed and goes down to the level of the floor. Though the price of tickets in business class flights is much higher than that in economy class, large number of people travel on those flights as the journey becomes much more comfortable. British Airways is one of the major intercontinental airlines that operate business class flights in some aerial routes in Asia, but apart from that some major Asian airlines have also started operating business class flights in the recent past. Large number of people belonging to higher financial status are nowadays traveling on these business class flights specially if they are making long-distant journeys.
